Dr. Cristina Troshin DMD is a General Dentist at Natick Family Dental with a passion for comprehensive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Originally from Moldova, she began her dental journey in Chisinau, where she completed a five-year Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program, followed by a three-year residency in General Dentistry. She practiced dentistry in Europe before continuing her professional journey in the United States. After moving to the U.S., Dr. Troshin further advanced her education at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her second Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree through the Advanced Standing Program.
With dental education and clinical experience spanning both Europe and the United States, Dr. Troshin brings a thoughtful and individualized approach to patient care. She especially enjoys restorative and esthetic dentistry and has a particular interest in creating natural, beautiful smiles through modern techniques, digital dentistry, and carefully planned treatment.
Dr. Troshin believes that excellent dentistry is about more than treating teeth. She values building trusting relationships with her patients, listening carefully to their concerns, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, understood, and involved in their care. Her goal is to combine clinical excellence with a gentle and compassionate approach while helping each patient achieve a healthy, confident smile
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Troshin has pursued extensive continuing dental education both in the United States and internationally. Throughout her career, she has attended advanced dental courses and professional programs in Germany, Italy, Romania, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and other countries, continually expanding her knowledge and refining her clinical skills. She remains dedicated to staying current with advances in restorative, cosmetic, and digital dentistry so she can provide her patients with modern, thoughtful, and high-quality care.
During her time at Boston University, Dr. Troshin also served as a teaching assistant in Occlusion, Removable Prosthodontics, and CAD/CAM dentistry, reflecting her enthusiasm for both learning and teaching. Giving back to the community has also been an important part of her professional journey. She has participated in numerous dental and community outreach events, volunteering her time to promote oral health education and support underserved communities. In recognition of her interest and outstanding achievement in community dentistry and dental public health, Dr. Troshin received the 2026 Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award from the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Troshin enjoys spending quality time with her husband and young son, traveling, and discovering new places and cultures. She enjoys staying active and especially loves running with her husband. Fluent in English, Romanian, and Russian, Dr. Troshin enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and making them feel welcome and comfortable in her care.
